Meet the Finalists

Blessing Oziama (she/her), a pharmacist and poet, lives in Lagos, Nigeria.

JL Maikaho’s manuscript was a finalist in the 2022 Nigerian NewsDirect Chapbook Awards. She won the VC GSU award for Prose at the 2023 Northeast Festival of Literature, Culture and Creativity and was longlisted for Hafsat Abdulwaheed Prize(2023). JL is a SprinNG alumna, radio presenter, dog mum and photographer, writing from Gombe, Nigeria.
